When running, greyhounds spend 75% of their time in the air
Angela and Alan Dixon contacted us following the loss of their Greek rescue dog, Toby. Having owned many dogs over time, this was the first time ever for the couple to be without one and their home felt empty as a result. After meeting several dogs at our Broadmarsh kennels, they decided to take a chance on Foxy, a very withdrawn and nervous greyhound.
Honestly, Foxy hasn’t found the transition from kennels to home easy and was quite unsettled for a few nights. But Angela and Alan were prepared to put the work in and by introducing a crate found that Foxy felt much more secure and settled. We were delighted to receive the news that Foxy, now Hugo, would be staying and know that Hugo will continue to blossom in his forever home.
