Did you know?
When running, greyhounds spend 75% of their time in the air
David and Lisa decided the timing was right to open their home and hearts to another greyhound, with David having recently retired. Their last greyhound, Jimmy, was on the larger side, so the criteria this time around was for a smaller dog (possibly a bitch) that wasn’t too strong on the lead to protect David’s niggly back.
After meeting several smaller bitches, he met striking, blue male Jester. Instantly smitten, the wish-list went out the window, with Jester being a similar size to Jimmy! All that remained was for the rest of the family, including Lisa, to meet him and give their stamp of approval (which of course they all did). The family were all smiles when they came to collect him and we couldn’t be happier for them. Make the most of your retirements, Jester and David!
