Happily Homed Jim (now called Trigger)
Inez and Rob lost their dog a few years ago, and wanted a rescue dog of some sort, but were only looking at fostering.
Inez is a member at Great Barr Golf Club who is a big supporter of HRH. One of our volunteers works there is always promoting greyhounds. Inez heard her talking about greyhounds and asked what they were like... she wanted a dog that didn’t need huge amount of exercise and would give them both company.
And of course our volunteer said, "Greyhounds are perfect for you."
Fast forward a couple of weeks and Inez and Rob started volunteering at our Watford Gap Kennels to get to know the breed and realised that our volunteer was right, they were perfect for them...the question was, which one?
They met Jim who hadn't long been with us, and he ticked all their boxes...a gentle lad who was easy to walk and very sweet.
After two weeks on our Foster2Adopt scheme, the decided that he was indeed "perfect".
So Inez and Rob are now greyhound converts and still volunteer at the kennels but have their very own dog to go home to.
