Happy Homing Kali (Abbeyside Kaka)

Do you believe in love at first sight? We do. Longstanding volunteer, Ian Henderson and his wife Kay recently lost their brindle girl, Pearl, who was one of the first dogs homed from Watford Gap Kennels many years ago. Pearl wasn't the easiest dog and didn't care for other dogs except her Labrador pal who belongs to their daughter. But they loved Pearl for who she was.

They planned to get another greyhound at some point but Ian came to take Kali to our last Lichfield walk and fell in love with her. A quick detour home after the walk to meet Kay and the Labrador, then back to kennels where he promptly reserved her!

We are so please for Kali as she's been with us for longer than she could be and we couldn't understand why no one wanted her. Well that all changed with Ian and Kay and Kali, now called Florence, or Flo for short is part of the Henderson household.

We couldn't be more please for them all
