Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

Gary and Sue Spriggs have seen many greyhounds go into loving homes over the many years that they been volunteering with greyhound charities and with HRH for the last 18 months. You may recognise them as part of the "Waseley Walk Team", Sue at the merchandise table and Gary walking up those hills.

Sadly they lost their old boy Runner who they homed after losing their first greyhound and Bluebelle who was a superb ambassadog at awareness raising events. Runner had been returned when his family couldn't look after him anymore.

With a greyhound sized gap in their home, they came to meet a few hounds and snowflake girl, Katie, won the day.

It wasn't smooth sailing to start but Sue and Gary knew that sometimes it takes time for newly homed hounds to settle and with their patience, she did just that.

We'll be seeing alot more of Katie, now called Tara at our walks and awareness raising event so keep your eyers peeled and come and say hello.
