Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

Kat and Reign wanted a greyhound to live with their Borzois girls, Asa, Kami and Malamute Willow. They came without their dogs to meet and suitable girls and we felt we had 2 possibles so they returned the following weekend with their dogs to see if they liked each other.

Asa had come into season and was grumpy and not in the mood to meet a potential new family member. Kat and Reign returned home to think over their options.

With Asa back to her normal self, they returned a third time for a second meeting with Kell who they thought was the most likely candidate to be accepted into their family.

We all held our breath, the meeting was better than we hoped for and Kell was reserved.

Kell, now Miso, went home on our foster to adopt scheme. All went so well that after a week, Kat and Reign returned to complete the adoption paperwork.

At 6 years old, Miso absolutely deserves the very best retirement and she has it with her new family.

Kat said that Miso has filled a spot they never knew was empty until they met her.

We are delighted to welcome Kat and Reign into our greyhound family and we look forward to all the adventures that Miso and her sisters, Kami, Asa and Willow get up to!
