Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

LOLA (BJORNDALEN LASS)'s story:

Pat and Noel are no strangers to the breed, having homed greyhounds Bridie (Treaty Bride) in January 2022 and Alison (Compass Alison) back in 2011. They have also lived with Irish Wolfhounds for many years.

Unfortunately, Bridie suffered a sudden heart attack aged just 8 1/2. Despite the tragic circumstances of her loss, Pat messaged to say they would love to give a home to another homeless hound from kennels. 

It was foster hound, Lola’s, profile that grabbed their attention. Her habit of collecting shoes and other items and taking them to her bed had made them smile. Pam and Gordon, who have done a great job fostering Lola, brought her along to kennels for a viewing. She was an instant hit, offering the ‘paw of more’ to them for attention in the office.

We know that Pam and Gordon are going to miss Lola, as she’s been with them now for over a year. Pat and Noel have promised to keep in touch with regular updates. Rest assured that she is in safe hands and with a bed in nearly every room in the house will continue being thoroughly spoiled.
