Another lovely happy homing story to start your day...Mary
Derek had adopted many greyhounds before and was missing
having a dog in his life. With support from his family he decided another greyhound was what he needed.
There was an instant mutual bond with Mary so much so our volunteer said "the smile on his face when he met Mary made my day."
So after a period in foster2adopt with Derek, there wasn't any doubt that she was the dog for him. Derek's daughter told us, "Her name is now Molly, which she answers to.
She's very cheeky and keeping him on his toes, but he's completely smitten.
She's active, clean, mischievous, a little thief if your not careful, loves people and fuss.
Thank you so much for your help with this, he's very happy right now.
Those kennels are a credit, they greyhounds are so lucky, with such lovely people around them."
We just love a happy ending, don't you? And thank you to Derek and his daughter for such kind words about Home Run Hounds.
