Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

Mary & John Heathcote first met Mason at the recent Broadmarsh Open Day.

Unexpectedly, they lost their greyhound Starsky last October and were wondering whether to offer a loving home to another homeless hound? They couldn’t believe that Mason had been waiting since July 2024 for his forever home, so decided to introduce him to their 15 year old lurcher Saga and 10 year old poodle cross Nelly to see if they’d all get along.

Fast forward a two week ‘foster to adopt’ period and Mason, renamed Trevor, has been fully accepted by ‘top dog’ Nelly as a fully fledged member of the pack. Mary and John have only positive things to say about the new addition to their family, describing him as ‘perfect’. They really can’t believe that he waited so long for his ‘forever home’. Trevor has many things to look forward to including trips out in the motorhome with his new pawrents and fursisters. We wish them all happy travels in the future.
