Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

John wanted a greyhound to add to his busy family, the greyhound needed to be friendly with people and other dogs and also be confident to travel on public transport.

After coming to kennels, John connected straight away with Maurice who ticked every box. John and his family came to visit Maurice several times and we could see the bond growing.

Maurice, now called Monty, went home on our foster to adopt scheme and it didn’t take him long to get his paws under the table!

He has a new greyhound cousin, Loki, and gets on well with other dogs in the family. John reports that he is starting to play with toys and is a pleasure to have in their home. He's settled so well.

Monty enjoys travelling by bus, enjoying all the new adventures his retirement is bringing.
