Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

You may remember a few weeks ago, Ali adopted beautiful girl Tilly who has been an absolute dream and you know the saying, if you can see the floor there’s room for one more?

Well, Ali was back at kennels with Rowlf and Tilly to add to their family, she really felt that she needed a boy and a black one at that as she knew that black male greyhounds are usually overlooked. Tilly was beyond excited to see us and for us, it was wonderful to see her looking so well and loved.

We knew that gentle Mel was destined to be an incredible homed hound and after meeting him, Ali agreed and her crew of 3 dogs left for their houseboat in Bristol.

Ali reports that Mel has settled brilliantly and has brought so much happiness for Tilly, Rowlf, her children and of course herself.

If you live on a boat and are considering a greyhound (or 2!), Ali has proven that it is more than possible.

We are delighted that Mel has such a fabulous retirement ahead of him, we look forward to Ali’s updates and seeing them all back at our open day in June.
