Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

PATSY (PATSY MAGIC)'s story:

HAPPILY HOMED PATSY - NOW ZELDA
Patsy is an adorable brindle girl with a loving personality, but as she is quite nervous in new situations she needed her person to have lots of patience to help her learn that the world isn't a scary place.

After Penny had lost her lurcher and was ready to share her heart and home with another dog, she and her daughter came to visit our Watford Gap Kennels. They met several dogs but was drawn to Patsy and vice versa 

Penny has had several dogs in the past and felt she had the skill and patience to help Patsy.

Some of our hounds settle into home life really easily and for others it take a longer time. Patsy was one of the second type. She bonded quite quickly with Penny but was so fearful of anyone and everything outside the safety of her new home.

Slowly, slowly, Penny built up Patsy confidence and trust. It's not been an easy journey but Penny had the support of her friends and HRH that she was doing all the right things. Zelda was very loving to Penny which was showed she was indeed doing the right things to help her and gets very excited when her daughter comes to visit.

She even has started venturing out for walk with the company of Penny's friend's greyhound. Well done Zelda!
