Happily Homed Pinocchio - Honour Pinocchio
Pinocchio is one of the smallest greyhounds we have had in kennels for a while but her personality is definitely not on the small side!
Pinocchio was the perfect fit for Louisa, Richard and Jasper who needed a special hound to fit into their busy lives and help heal their hearts after their greyhound went over the rainbow bridge.
Jasper was having the final say on their new dog and after meeting 2 others, one was too bouncy and the other too quiet, Jasper fell instantly in love with Pinocchio and the feeling was mutual.
Pinocchio, now called Crumble (what a fabulous name!) went home on our foster to adopt scheme. Louisa reported that she spent the first 2 hours ‘Crumble proofing’ their house as she pinched anything she could find, Louisa’s knitting, books, the TV remote!
Louisa works from home and says she finds it impossible not to laugh when she’s on an online meeting as Crumble removes her toys from the toy box and flings them across the room.
Jasper adores Crumble, even sleeping on the sofa for the first night so she wouldn’t be lonely.
Well done Crumble, you’ve landed on your lucky paws with your forever family, we look forward to hearing all about your adventures!
