HAPPILY HOMED HOUND - ROGUE

We are thrilled to announce that Rogue (Ballylean Rogue) has officially found his forever home!

When Hannah and Deivid were looking for a companion for their nervous dachshund, Willow, we knew just the dog for the job. Willow was very anxious around other dogs and would make sure they knew it. But we slowly and carefully introduced her to the calm and patient Rogue.

He was completely unfazed by her warnings, and as soon as Willow realized he wasn't a threat, they started walking together side by side. Towards the end of the viewing, Rogue lay down for belly rubs and promptly fell asleep ( never had a hound fall alseep during a viewing before)—which gave Willow a perfect opportunity to get a good sniff of her new friend.

Before long, the unlikely duo became the best of friends. Rogue did have some initial separation anxiety, but thanks to the family’s patience and perseverance, he has improved so much and is now living his best life. We couldn't be happier for Rogue and his new family, especially his best friend, Willow!
