Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

Happily Homed Shane -Streets of Soho

We just knew that stunning Shane would not be in kennels for long with his gentle nature and striking looks.

On his first trip out to an event at the local church, Jean and Dave were watching Shane and how patient and gentle he was with some children and other dogs. Jean and Dave have years of experience with dogs as they have had 25 puppies over a 20 year time span getting them ready to start training to be assistant dogs.

Having not had a pup in the house for a while, they had begun to talk about having a dog as a pet for them but had not considered a greyhound. However, Shane leant on Dave and the reservation was made, how could anyone resist this gorgeous boy.

Shane, now called Freddie, was taken round to their house to see what he thought. Freddie knew he was onto a good thing as he had a good sniff round, had a couple of wees in the garden and came in for cuddles. What a superstar!

We are delighted that Jean and Dave have joined our greyhound family and we look forward to hearing about Freddie’s adventures, he has certainly landed on his lucky paws with Jean and Dave.
