Happy Homing, Solar ( Infield Solar)
When Louise and Alan reached out to us, they were ready to open their hearts again after the sad loss of their beloved boy, Dart (Swift Dartmoor). It’s never easy saying goodbye, but we knew the perfect hound was waiting to help them start a new chapter.
During their visit to the kennels, Louise and Alan met several of our handsome boys. While they were all charmers, it was Solar who truly stole the show. With his sweet nature and friendly "lean," we just knew he’d be the perfect fit for their family.
Fast forward two weeks, and Solar has officially traded kennel life for the sofa! He’s been busy making the rounds and collecting "seals of approval" from the whole family.
Louise and Alan shared a lovely update from their recent adventures:
"He is doing so well! This week he met my Mum’s dog, and today we took a trip to the National Memorial Arboretum. We met up with my sister’s dog, a Greek rescue who is usually very nervous around new faces. She absolutely loved Solar! It’s safe to say he’s a hit with everyone."

It’s heartwarming to see this gentle boy settling in so beautifully. Seeing him thrive in social settings and bring joy to his new family (and their four-legged relatives!) is exactly why we do what we do.
