Andy and Sarah Purvis contacted us recently hoping to find a new family member and most importantly a companion for their 12 year old lurcher, Ozzy. Luckily they were prepared to travel to find the right match, so several visits later they met and fell in love with Suzie. She had been overlooked for far too long, but this was her moment to shine, demonstrating how calm and gentle she could be towards the ‘older gentleman’. After just one week on ‘foster2adopt’ Suzie has now been fully adopted. Andy says: “We couldn’t have wished for a better dog for our family. We all love her so much.” Suzie has been renamed Lilly, after her racing name Knockalton Lilly. You may spot her walking around Worcester racecourse. If so, say: “Mind the tortoise!”
