TED (YOUNG TED)'s story:

A VERY HAPPY HOMING - TED
Andrew and Belinda got in touch after losing their beloved greyhound Ralph, Aged 13. They saw an article about Home Run Hound’s fostering scheme in the Lichfield City Life magazine and got in touch to enquire.
They weren’t quite ready to have another hound but felt they could offer their love and knowledge to another dog waiting for a home.

We explained how flexible the scheme could be by either fostering a different dog each time or having the same dog for several visits…they chose the second option…and we are sooo glad they did. We asked them to take Ted, who had been with us at for over a year as we needed a fuller assessment as we couldn’t understand why he was constantly being overlooked.
He’d been at all 3 of our Midland branches thinking a change of scene would help him find his special person…and he eventually did…Belinda and Andrew fell in love with Ted and decided that they couldn’t let him go.
He came back with them to sign the adoption papers and for his happy homing photo and he just looked so happy and chilled.

Thank you to Belinda and Andrew for giving Ted the home he so deserves and thank you for enquiring about fostering…it really does make a difference…
