TIMMY (AVARA TIMMY)'s story:

HAPPY HOMING TIMMY - (AVARA TIMMY)
Gotcha days are special for all our hounds but we are thrilled when it's the turn of one of our longer stayers. Timmy came in with his sister 7 months ago and we tried to home them together but it wasn't to be. Jilly was adopted leaving Timmy still looking for his forever someone. And he waited patiently with several 'almosts' but pipped at the post by other hounds...until Melanie and Colin came to visit.

Having recently lost their lurcher they were ready to open their hearts and home to another hound. Their lurcher had been a bit of a tricky character so were looking for an easy going dog and Timmy fit the bill. 
Timmy did his best greyhound lean to woo them but they wanted to make sure he was "the one" by meeting a couple of other dogs. It became clear he was indeed the right dog for them and he initially went home on a foster2adopt trial.

We're pleased to say that after a couple of days they knew Timmy was there to stay. New home, new name and he is now known as Cassidy. He's fitted in perfectly, enjoys his toys, and has been to Costa for a puppaccino.
Living the good life now, Cassidy, Good things come to all who wait.
