VINO (CHANCEMEVINO)'s story:

Happily Homed Vino - Chanceme Vino

As many greyhound people know, when you have 2 (or more) hounds in your home, the death of one means that as well as your own grief, you have to be strong for your dog who is grieving too.

Lindsay and James were heartbroken when Amber died and Patch was devastated. Being a nervous boy, he took his lead from Amber and enjoyed her company. Without her, he lost his wag and just seemed glum.
The trio came to kennels to see if Patch could choose himself a new partner in crime. He met 3 contenders and after enjoying some off lead playing, he decided that Vino was the girl for him. Lindsay was delighted as Vino was her favourite from the profiles on our website.

Patch and Vino went off home together on our foster to adopt scheme to see if the friendship would blossom.

Lindsay reports that Vino, now called Nina is a right little character, she loves to play and will steal washing and shoes! Their bond is growing daily. Patch is far happier having Nina in his life even when she is being a pest and wanting to play and he needs a nap. He is teaching her how to jump in the car and where the best sniffs are out on a walk.

Well done Patch, we are delighted that you chose Nina to be your new sibling. Thank you to Lindsay and James for opening your hearts and home to another kennel dog. We all wish you lots of fun and adventures together.
