Marion White got in touch after losing her two canine companions within quick succession of each other. She couldn’t bear the sudden emptiness at home and was missing having somebody to share her camping adventures with.
So she travelled all the way from Dorset, with a pit stop in Monmouthshire along the way, to meet several dogs that we thought might suit her active lifestyle.
Jessica captured her heart instantly with her affectionate personality. Being on the smaller side, she packed up compactly to fit perfectly into the campervan.
Volunteers and Broadmarsh staff gathered to say goodbye to this much loved kennel favourite, who set off to Dorset with a lovely new name - Zara - adapted from her racing name, Zari Jessica.
We welcome Marion to the greyhound community and look forward to hearing of her travels in the campervan with Zara over the coming months. Happy camping!
