Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

ZIPPY(RAVENSWELL ZIPPY)'s story:

Gorgeous Zippy (Ravenswell Zippy) was always a firm favourite in kennels. A tiny tot, Zippy's cuteness got her cuddles on tap, whenever she wanted them. Kennel hand Corrine had worked with Zippy in both her race career & then in retirement at Monkspath and expressed she would love to adopt her, but what about her lovely pack of 'Jacks' ? Would they approve ?

Home Run Hounds pride ourselves on not setting rigid time scales for adoptions, choosing instead to assess each individual adoption scenario and tailor making an introduction plan at the pace of the dogs, to ensure a successful homing.

So following an initial introduction, Zippy visited a few hours at a time, supervised and muzzled, as Corrine's new arrival settled in with her new family. These time periods were gradually extended, until everyone was comfortable to begin Foster 2 Adopt.

With all dogs getting along happily, we were thrilled to hear from Corrine that Zippy was home to stay. Huge congratulations to you all
