Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

MAGGIE (MAGICAL MOTION)'s story:

Terri, Martin and daughter Phoebe lost their dachshund Joey, at 13 years old, last year. They felt the time was now right for a new dog, and after a lot of research decided a greyhound would be the perfect fit.

After a visit to our show at Himley Hall, seeing our hounds and talking to the volunteers, the decision was made. But who would be the perfect for them? After visits to our Broadmarsh and Watford Gap kennels they met Maggie who had only just arrived. They were completely smitten and prepared to wait whilst she settled in and went on a weekend foster with some volunteers. Their report was so great that they collected Maggie to immediately begin her Foster2Adopt trial with them.

The foster period flew by, with Maggie slotting into the family routines as if she had always been there. So today ‘Maggie May’, as she’ll be known, has joined the family and we wish them all a wonderful future together.
