BEAUTY (PLAZA BEAUTY)'s story:

AGE IS NO BARRIER FOR HOME RUN HOUNDS

Plaza Beauty (Beauty) came to us in January 25 but unfortunately was suffering with corns so had problems walking.

The wonderful kennel staff at Watford Gap and our amazing team of Alan and Claire at Monkspath set about trying to sort her out and in the meantime David (pictured) who had lost his beloved Greyhound Sanza a few days before wanted another Greyhound, so we asked him if he would foster Beauty whilst we got her ready for homing.

It is heartbreaking to loose your best friend and David at 89 and living alone was missing the Company so this was a win win whilst Beauty was treated.

Beauty was certainly a different character to Sanza, inquisitive, mischievous and sometimes a little scatty but David fell in love with her and we are delighted to say that after sorting out her corns and with David's love and attention she went home yesterday with David .... no longer needing a home.... she had found her "forever" home.

We do not discriminate on age at Home Run Hounds, we support all our adopters and will always have a HRH hound back if there are genuine reasons why the adopter needs help.
