When running, greyhounds spend 75% of their time in the air
Isobel, Mike and son Andrew had been looking for a companion for their greyhound Enzo, after losing his pal Tiny, a Swedish Vallhund.
They spotted Grace’s stories online and read how she’d been struggling in kennels, as she was nervous of the passing traffic. Living in a rural area away from busy roads, with plenty of space to roam, they decided to take her home on a Foster2Adopt basis.
A few weeks on and Grace is very relaxed inside the house and is showing a cheekier side to her personality. She is a thief and likes to take all the stolen items to her bed. She enjoys exploring the garden and is getting braver walking up the lane, although she wasn’t sure what to make of cows at first!
We were delighted to hear that she would be staying for good. Home Run Hounds are very grateful that the Davis family were willing to give Grave the extra time and patience needed to feel secure and settled. Thanks also to Enzo for showing her how this ‘home stuff’ works.
