Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

SID (SLIABH DONAIRT)'s story:

Another of our long stayers had all his dreams come true recently.  Sid (Sliabh Donairt) came into HRH Monkspath on Valentine's Day 2025 - stealing all our hearts at the same time.

As with all our hounds, we put him into several different short term fosters, to fully assess both his needs & personality.  We knew his home needed to be greyhound savvy, with homers not afraid to say 'no' (especially around food) and preferably with a female greyhound, who could teach him some 'pet craft'. 

Nigel & Siobhan, who had previously adopted Kiss from our Lichfield kennels, had been on the look out for a brother for her, when they spotted Sid on our website and contacted us to see if they could meet our big fella.

Their meeting went well, Foster to Adopt put in place and Sid went home. Nigel phoned a few days later to say they were all totally in love with him & he was home to stay.

We can't begin to tell you how thrilled we are for this loving lad ! All homings are special, but when they have been in kennels a long time - it's extra special. Well Done Super Sid!
