JAMES (PLEASE JAMES)'s story:

HRH BRANCHES WORKING TOGETHER
We received an email at the end of December from a lady in Belgium had seen James on our pages of the Greyhound Homing UK website. At the time James was at our Watford Gap Kennels in the Midlands.

Not to worry, our HRH branch in Romford are very experienced dealing with complexities of international adoptions; passports, vaccinations, homechecks, travel etc. and James went down to stay kennels at Home Run Hounds Eastern Counties Greyhound Charity while Katie and Andrew from HRH Romford got things started.

We're so pleased to hear from Katie and Andrew that after an early start on Thursday to board the ferry in Dover they were heading off with James to his amazing new home.

They reported that when he arrived yesterday it was as if he had been there before. After initial hound inspections, this amazing boy settled down in his new bed and had a lovely nap while they were treated to coffee and waffles, before completing the homing paperwork.
This boy is going to be so loved and have the best life.

This is what homings are all about and these dogs deserve the best lives in retirement.
....and this is what HRH is all about - working together to get the best possible outcome for each and every dog! Well done to everyone involved!
